This spotted cue ball will make a great addition to your pool ball set. It has become a favorite of the pros for some time now and it also a favorite with the fans because they can see the massive amounts of spin the pros can put on the ball! Having played with it for a while now, I found it to be extremely advantageous over using the regular cue ball because the spots make it very easy to see the exact amount of spin I put on the ball. This instant feedback is very helpful when learning how much spin you need to put on the ball for a specific shot! I found that I can tell instantly how well I hit the ball just by seeing the rotation of the spots. Seeing the rotation of the ball lets you know to adjust your hit to get a better result on your shot! You can use a little more or a little less spin and see the different paths the cue ball will take and that is priceless in learning how to control you rock!!
I also give lessons and I have found that this cue ball can also be used as a teaching tool to help students get the feel of how to hit spin shots! They get instant feedback letting them know how well they hit the ball. It also gives them a visual on how the cue ball will react by hitting it a certain way. The cue ball also lets someone see how far the ball will travel with a certain amount of spin on it. If you have to travel 3 rails to get shape on your next shot you can adjust your stroke to get pin point position just by looking at how much travel you get with a certain amount of spin!
