Featherstripping is used to tuck the cloth into the back of the rails. When installing pool table felt onto the rails, wood or plastic feather stripping is used to secure the edge nearest the top of the rail. That is what this is for. This is a set of 28 feet of rubber stripping, which is enough for up to a nine foot table. Sold in 28 foot lengths, this is enough for 7-9ft table sizes.
